In 2025, there are no shortage of novelties, with the 86th edition of the Giro dell'Appennino, scheduled for Sunday, June 24, this year adding the Giro dell'Appennino Women Elite. Especially with the presence of Norma Gimondi, who received the Appennino Rosa from Gabriella Persegona. Besides Gimondi and Persegona, who at the helm of Tre Colli continues the cycling commitment of her unforgettable husband Tarcisio, other women were present. Given the presence of so many women, Genoa's Ambassador to the World Angelo Gnecco and Paolo Corsiglia from the Genoa Chamber of Commerce presented a bouquet of flowers to Gimondi, Ferro, and Bianchi. It was impossible to mention all the guests, including the ever-lively Giuseppe Perletto and Faustino Coppi. In 2025, the 70th anniversary will be celebrated of the great Fausto Coppi's last victory in a line race, in Pontedecimo, on September 18, 1955, wearing the Bianchi jersey.
