After the celebrations of the 50th anniversary of Veloce Club Tombolo desired by President Amedeo Pilotto and sponsored by the Municipality, led by the passionate and skilled cyclist and runner mayor Luca Frasson, set in the "Vighesso" Auditorium on Friday, November 29th and realized in collaboration with Jonny Moletta and Alessio Stefano Berti, the Gravel Social Ride, "La Bestiale", was conceived.

The unprecedented event will start from the Onara Marsh Park in Tombolo, will cover the Ezzelini trail and includes a turnaround and refreshment at Mena in Santa Felicita Valley in Romano d'Ezzelino (Vicenza) both ways. The "Gravel Social Ride" has been designed on a spectacular route of 73 kilometers and 330 meters of elevation gain. The meeting is set from 8 am with a "French-style" departure at 9 am. Participation is allowed for all types of bicycles (gravel, mountain bike, e-bike, and vintage) and registration, open to everyone, is free and not mandatory (but appreciated for organizational reasons).

The event, which is expected to be highly successful, is already registering numerous registrations. "Do you know why it's called La Bestiale? - explained Alessio Berti, born in 1967 from Onara di Tombolo, known for his competitive and socio-cultural activities - The reason is that in Tombolo, 'beasts' have always been the peculiarity of the territory. This name celebrates the strong agricultural and livestock breeding tradition of Tombolo, known as the 'village of livestock brokers'. It evokes power and strength, characteristics that perfectly match a gravel race in the midst of nature, where endurance and indomitable spirit are fundamental, and a monument to livestock brokers has been dedicated right in front of the Municipal Building. We expect many participants on Sunday, December first, at 'La Bestiale'."

The festive free refreshment will be offered by 'La Sicura' Insurance of Gabriele Baggio, and a dedicated water bottle will be given as a gift until supplies last. Important is the collaboration with the Onara Marsh Park Association by Carlo Zanella for hospitality in the evocative location.
